Never climb a ladder for Christmas lights again.
True 2700K warm white
A dedicated warm white diode gives the soft glow of a porch bulb. No bluish white made by mixing colours.
Built for Kootenay winters
IP68-rated pixels sit in a sealed aluminum track under the soffit, where snow slides past them.
Invisible by day
The track is colour-matched to your fascia. Most neighbours won't notice it until the lights come on.
Run it from your phone
Hundreds of presets, sunset schedules, zones and dimming in the Prairie app. Works from the cabin too.
24V Pro Series system
Low voltage, Class 2 power, UL-listed controller. Pennies a night to run a full roofline.
Local service, no 1-800 number
If a pixel ever acts up, our Nelson crew comes back and fixes it.
Big-brand quality without the big-brand price.
Most permanent lights in the Kootenays fall into three camps. Here is how the pixel on your roof stacks up, spec for spec.

How much do permanent lights cost?
Every home is different, so we price by the linear foot of roofline you want lit. Your free estimate gives you one flat, written price with installation included. 0% financing through Klarna is available on approval.
Why choose Prairie over a 48V import system?
48V systems can run longer lines between power supplies, which mostly saves the installer time. What you live with is the light and the warranty. Prairie gives you true 2700K warm white, an IP68 pixel, a lifetime warranty from a Canadian company, and a local crew to service it.
Is it the same quality as Gemstone?
Both are 3-diode pixels with a dedicated warm white diode and both carry a lifetime warranty on the lights. Prairie runs true 2700K warm white on a 24V system, and the biggest difference is price. We'll gladly put our quote beside any other.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Barely. The track is colour-matched to your fascia and tucked under the drip edge.
Will they hold up to Kootenay snow and ice?
Yes. The pixels are IP68 rated and sit in the track under the soffit, out of the way of sliding snow.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day.
